It's Friday!!

What a lovely day it has been. Sadly I have been working all day but looking forward to a long weekend.

I am going to make the most of it as it seems to go so quickly.  Blondie and little man came round for tea tonight which is always nice. Tomorrow if I am awake early I like to start the day listening to Anneka Rice on radio 2. Then going to legs, bums & tums before coming home to give the house a quick clean. Later going out with friends for a meal and then home Sunday.

Hopefully if I get time in the morning I will ring you. Love to sugar & spice

My first ever post!!!

Hello sis.  Well hopefully if you are reading this you have found my post. 

I can't quite believe that I have actually started by own blog.  I stumbled across blogs several years ago while looking for a cake recipe, and have been hooked ever since.  There are several that I follow religiously and I cannot believe how talented they are.    

Sadly although I love crafting my efforts are no way near to their standards, but I think that sometimes I give up too easily.  For example I have just painted two bedroom side tables in Annie Sloane paint which was fine. However I have not found applying the clear wax as easy and the finish seems to me to be quite patchy (I will take a photo to show you this weekend).
